Shawn Mendes Is Excited For 'SNL', Hopes to Get a Photo with Adam Sandler

Shawn Mendes is looking forward to performing on Saturday Night Live for the second time!

In an interview with Sirius XM Hits 1 on Friday morning (May 3), the 20-year-old opened up about how he’s more nervous about his new song “If I Can’t Have You” than he is about performing on the show.

“I feel good, I feel really good,” he said on the radio show. “I feel more nervous just about the song release in general than playing SNL, ’cause I feel pretty excited about that.”

He also opened up about this week’s host of Saturday Night Live – Adam Sandler.

“I met Adam Sandler a few times, and he’s been really, really, really nice to me, so it should be fun,” he dished. “I got starstruck by him. I didn’t get a photo with him. I still haven’t got a photo. We’re going to be on TV together so I’m just going to screenshot the television.”
