Kathryn Newton Says 'Detective Pikachu' Movie Is 'Pokemon Dreams Come True'

Kathryn Newton heads out of her hotel to enjoy the sunny weather in New York City over the weekend.

Earlier in the week, the 22-year-old actress stepped out at the premiere her new movie, Pokemon Detective Pikachu, in an amazing Ralph & Russo gown.

Speaking with NY Daily News, Kathryn opened up about the flick and how viewers “can expect their Pokémon dreams to come true.”

She added, If you’re a fan, or you’re not, I think you’re going to love the film. But if you’re a fan like me, it’s what it’s like if you lived in a world where you co-existed with Pokémon, and that’s my favorite part. It’s a new universe that you get to explore.”

Pokémon Detective Pikachu is out in theaters on May 10th.
