Ariana Grande Is Facing a Lawsuit for Posting Pictures of Herself on Instagram

Ariana Grande is in legal trouble over pictures she posted to Instagram.

The 25-year-old singer is being sued by professional photographer Robert Barbera for copyright infringement, according to court documents obtained by E! News.

According to Robert’s lawsuit, Ariana posted unlicensed pictures of herself on Instagram that he had taken. His suit also says Ariana didn’t have his “permission or consent to publish the photographs” on her account.

The photog is seeking monetary relief for the copyright infringement, including statutory damages up to $25,000 for each violation and punitive damages.

The Instagram posts in question have since been deleted, but E! reports that they featured Ariana carrying a see-through bag with the word “Sweetener” written on it.
