5 Seconds of Summer's Luke Hemmings Says New Track 'Easier' Is The Beginning of the Best Era For the Band

5 Seconds of Summer emerge from an underwater cavern in their new “Easier” music video.

The guys – Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford – shot the visual for the new track at the Bronson Caves in Griffith Park, and Angeles Abbey Memorial Park in Compton.

“‘Easier’ is the most confident we have been in the first song to be released off one of our records,” Luke shared of the track. “Visually and sonically it feels like we took what we uncovered about ourselves as a band on the last album and honed in on that sound and aura.”

He adds, “I truly believe that ‘Easier’ is the beginning of the best era for 5SOS.”
