Big Little Lies' Darby Camp Cast As Clifford, The Big Red Dog's Best Friend Emily!

Darby Camp is heading to the big screen!

The young actress will be starring in a new film adaptation of the book series “Clifford, The Big Red Dog“.

Here’s a synopsis: Emily (Camp), struggling to fit in at home and at school, discovering a small red puppy who is destined to become her best friend. When Clifford magically undergoes one heck of a growth spurt and grows into a gigantic dog and attracts the attention of a genetics company, Emily and her Uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) have to fight the forces of greed as they go on the run across New York City. Along the way, Clifford affects the lives of everyone around him and teaches Emily and her uncle the true meaning of acceptance and unconditional love.

Darby is best known for playing Reese Witherspoon‘s daughter on HBO’s Big Little Lies, as well as Netflix’s The Christmas Chronicles.
