Ashley Tisdale Joins Jean-Luc Bilodeau As Series Regular In 'Carol's Second Act'

Ashley Tisdale has lined up a second series regular role!

The actress, singer and producer has joined Carol’s Second Act as Jenny, the daughter of Patricia Heaton‘s character, Carol.

“I am BEYOND excited about this!! Being a fan of yours for years and now getting the opportunity to be your daughter in this show is SO exciting!! Thank you for this ❤️,” she tweeted in response to Patricia, who said, “I’m so excited to welcome @ashleytisdale to my new show , #CarolsSecondAct on @CBS ! So talented, so sweet, so funny, so normal!”

Jenny is “a pharmaceutical rep and covers Carol’s hospital. Jenny loves and is supportive of her mom, and her bubbly and outgoing personality and carefree spirit is a buoyant counterpoint to Carol’s neurotic medical colleagues,” Deadline reports.

Ashley is taking over the role that was previously played by Bonnie Dennison in the show’s pilot episode. Jean-Luc Bilodeau also stars in the show.

In addition to the new role on Carol’s Second Act, Ashley is also a series regular on the upcoming Netflix show Merry Happy Whatever alongside Bridgit Mendler.
