OlderShailene Woodley Didn't Remember Her Brush With Meryl Streep Until Her Mom Told Her
Shailene Woodley keeps it chic in a brown suit and tie while leaving the Good Morning America studios in New York City on Tuesday morning (June 11).
During her appearance, the 27-year-old actress opened up about working with Meryl Streep on the new season of Big Little Lies, and revealed she didn’t actually remember kind of meeting her before at the 2012 BAFTA Awards.

Meryl picked up the trophy for Best Actress for her role as Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady, and on her way to the stage, she handed Shailene her bag.
“[W]hen she got cast for the second season, my mom was like, ‘That’s so funny because remember when she gave you the bag?’ I was like, ‘No she didn’t,’” Shailene remembered. “My mom was sitting next to me and remembered that whole thing.”
