Tom Holland Almost Had an 'Into The Spider-Verse' Cameo

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse was such an amazing movie – we mean, it even won an Oscar!

But one thing that was missing from it was Tom Holland, the live action star of the Spider-Man films.

It actually turns out that he was supposed to have a cameo in the animated film, as were Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, but the idea was nixed.

“At one point I was supposed to be in it,” Tom recalled in an interview with JOE. “There was going to be another Peter Parker…there was like a scene in a train station or something, and it was going to be like an Easter egg. I was going to walk through the background and say like ‘Hey, kid’ or something.”

We are 8512320% bummed this didn’t work out!

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is streaming on Netflix now and Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters NEXT Friday.
