The 21-year-old actress took to Instagram on Thursday (June 27) to share her enthusiasm about the surprise renewal of her show, One Day at a Time.
“I can’t believe I’m typing this, but… we did it. YOU did it. The Alvarez family is coming back for a 4th season on @poptv!!!!! what tHE F*CK!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤯🤪🎉😭❤️💃🏽 #SaveODAAT to #MoreODAAT ❗️” Isabella wrote on Instagram.
One Day at a Time fans were devastated when the sitcom was canceled by its parent platform, Netflix. Fans rallied for the comedy, calling for execs to bring it back for a fourth season.
Although Netflix didn’t change course on the cancellation, One Day at a Time was picked up by the CBS Corp.-owned basic cable network Pop, Deadline reports.
The sitcom will return for a 13-episode fourth season in 2020.
