Tom Holland and Zendaya are opening up about their character’s blossoming relationship.

The two Spider-Man: Far From Home stars reveal why it’s taking so long for Peter and MJ to take their friendship to a relationship.

“It’s cute, I think the director really just wanted to portray the most accurate representation of puppy love…” Tom told PopBuzz. “So that’s why they’re very awkward when they’re around each other.”

“And it’s also just reality you know, when you’re that age and you are kind of figuring out how to communicate your feelings to other people,” Zendaya added.
