'Legacies' Season 2 Could Welcome 'Originals' Stars

New tidbits are being dropped daily for the upcoming season of Legacies – and one of the big ones is that some Originals stars might pop in!

Chatting with TV Guide, showrunner Julie Plec opened up about some fans seeing some familiar faces on the screen.

“I think there’s going to be an opportunity this year to see some of the Originals,” she shared. “I don’t know who and I don’t know when, but the way that Hope’s (Danielle Rose Russell) storyline is shaping up, there’s definitely a link to the family that got left behind … that we will have to address at a certain point. And it would be nice to see a familiar face.”

On top of the Originals, Candice King‘s Caroline is still one character are trying to bring back to the show.

“The desire to see Caroline Forbes on Legacies remains strong,” Julie added. “The invitation remains open and the welcome would be warm. So honestly, it’s just a matter of finding the right story and the right opportunity for Candice to want to come back and play in the sandbox a little.”

Legacies is set to return on Thursday, October 10th @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.
