Shailene Woodley Rumored To Be On Short List For Spider-Woman Role for 'Spider-Man'

Once upon a time, Shailene Woodley was going to be part of the Spider-Man franchise back when it was part of Sony.

The 27-year-old actress shot scenes with Andrew Garfield as Mary Jane Watson, but ultimately, her scenes were cut from The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Now, rumor has it that she could join the new Spider-Man franchise with Marvel, as Jessica Drew, aka Spider-Woman!

We Got This Covered is reporting that Shailene is one of actresses being considered for the part, along with Olivia Cooke.

The character of Jessica Drew is rumored to be in the next Spider-Man film.
