Harry Styles Could Play Prince Eric in 'The Little Mermaid'

Harry Styles might have missed out on the role of Elvis Presley, but it looks like he’s int he running for another royal role – Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid!

THR is reporting that the 25-year-old musician could take on the role of the animated prince in the live action film, opposite Halle Bailey as Ariel.

Other actors in talks to join the movie include Melissa McCarthy, Jacob Tremblay and Awkwafina.

If you remember, Eric is the human prince who catches Ariel’s eye and she ultimately saves the prince from drowning. He is also a key in the final battle against Ursula.
