Riverdale's Halloween Episode Will Be Pretty Intense, Someone Dies!

Riverdale is finally getting a Halloween episode!!

The exciting news was revealed during the show’s 2019 Comic-Con panel and we have some new details.

“It’s episode four. We’ve never been able to do a Halloween episode because of scheduling and it’s just never worked out,” creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa told ET. “We’ve got a really fun, spooky episode for everyone.”

Lili Reinhart then asked, “Does someone die?” to which Roberto confirmed, “Yes, someone dies, but no one at this table!”

Those at the table included the core characters, Archie (KJ Apa), Betty (Reinhart), Bughead (Cole Sprouse), Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch), and Veronica (Camila Mendes).

While we know that Choni will likely be dressing up as people from the DC Universe, and Betty will be staying home for the night.

“Betty is at home giving out candy to trick-or-treaters. No fun allowed for Betty. No, no, no, you’ve got a fun story, a scary story,” Roberto added.

He also dished that he knows what Archie will dress up as but won’t reveal it quite yet.

We can’t wait to see the Riverdale Halloween episode, which will air on October 30 on The CW!!
