OlderTaylor Swift Will Be Honored With First Icon Award at Teen Choice Awards 2019
Congrats to Taylor Swift!
The 29-year-old “Me!” singer is set to receive the first ever Icon Award at the upcoming 2019 Teen Choice Awards next month!
“As one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with more than 50 million albums sold, Taylor Swift is a pop culture icon whose accolades and achievements go beyond topping music charts and selling out stadiums worldwide,” Fox shared in a statement about the honor. “Swift is also one of today’s biggest social influencers, using her voice and platform to inspire and create positive change.”
Alongside Taylor, the Jonas Brothers are also set to receive the Decade Award at the event.
The 2019 Teen Choice Awards are set to happen on Sunday, August 11th in Hermosa Beach, Calif., and will air @ 8PM ET/PT on Fox.
