OlderMeghan Trainor Releases New Song 'Run Like The River' From 'Playmobil: The Movie'
Meghan Trainor just dropped a new track from her upcoming animated flick Playmobil: The Movie!
The 25-year-old songstress released “Run Like The River“, which she wrote for the film, on Friday (July 26).
“So excited to share this special song with all of you!! RUN LIKE THE RIVER is out everywhere now!! 💖🌊 Listen on your favorite streaming service and make sure to watch Playmobil: The Movie 🧚♀️💕 @PlaymobilMovie,” she tweeted.
“I played it for the director when I first met him, and I said, ’You should have songs like this in your movie.’ Then the next day they called and were like, ‘We want that song!’ It was just a magical moment,” Meghan said in a press release.
Meghan also lends her voice to a character in the movie, which also stars Daniel Radcliffe, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jim Gaffigan, Gabriel Bateman, Kenan Thompson and Adam Lambert.
Playmobil: The Movie will be out on August 30, while the soundtrack will be released on August 2!
