Taylor Swift Kicks Off 'Lover' Secret Sessions in London - Everything You Need to Know!

We’re just three weeks away from the release of Taylor Swift‘s upcoming album Lover and some lucky fans have already heard all of the new music!

The 29-year-old singer is hosting “secret sessions” for the new album and she kicked off the events with a session at her London home on Friday night (August 2).

Here are 10 cool details from inside the event based on what fans in attendance are saying on social media so far:

• 1. Taylor asked fans not to directly quote her while recapping the secret session as she has been misquoted in the past.
• 2. Fans have known they were going to the secret session since mid-July but have had to keep it a secret.
• 3. The gift bag had a cool “London Secret Session 2019″ pin, plus a few shirts and a cap.
• 4. Taylor didn’t play the three songs already released – “ME!” “You Need to Calm Down,” and “The Archer.”
• 5. Taylor told the fans the title of each track before she played them, but the fans are keeping those details a secret.

• 6. Track 10 seems to be a highlight for fans, with many saying they were brought to tears by the song.
• 7. Taylor made rice crispy treats in the shape of hearts and in the colors pink, blue, and purple. There were also custom M&Ms, some with the word “Lover” on them.
• 8. There were Le Labo “Santal 26″ candles throughout the house.
• 9. Taylor wore a blue and white striped button down shirt, jean shorts, and a white cardigan tied around her waist.
• 10. The cats sadly weren’t around for the secret session.
