Tana Mongeau Explains Why Her Parents Weren't At Her Wedding

The 21-year-old YouTuber was joined by a group of friends, including BFF Imari Stuart.

Earlier that day, the final episode of Tana‘s MTV reality show, MTV No Filter: Tana Turns 21, aired, and she revealed why her parents weren’t at her Las Vegas wedding.

“Should I go see my parents? I don’t want to,” she tells her manager Jordan over a FaceTime call. He then asks if she’s inviting them to her wedding.

“No. The thought of it is too much for me, I’m serious. Like I can’t,” Tana says. “I do think it’s such a weird look. Jake’s mom is there, and mine isn’t, but I’m going to have to babysit her all day, and I’m not going to be able to.”

“Tana‘s always had a really weird relationship with her family. Sometimes when it comes to stressful things, Tana likes her parents to just not be there,” Jordan adds. “Their relationship is fine, but I think there’s going to be some people who question why her parents aren’t there and I’m the one walking her down the aisle.”
