Cara Delevingne Opens Up About Speaking With An Irish Accent For 'Carnival Row'

Cara Delevingne rocks a cool queen of hearts tee while on her way to the London Hotel on Thursday (August 29) in London, England.

The 27-year-old actress recently spoke about the Irish accent she speaks with in her upcoming Amazon series, Carnival Row.

“The first audition I did I asked to do it in both Irish and English even though it wasn’t asked for in Irish, I just always saw it that way. Always,” she says. “I don’t know what reference it was. I learned about fairies; the word fae is Gaelic and I was always pretty sure the mythical thing of fairies was made in Ireland.”

Cara added that she thinks of the Irish accent as one of the most beautiful in the world.

“The way they speak and the lyrical way of their words, it just made more sense for the kind of romantic creatures that fairies are, so that just felt extremely important to me.”

Carnival Row premieres TOMORROW on Amazon Prime.

FYI: Cara wore a Vika Gazinskaya top and a Yanina Couture skirt.
