Taylor Swift Is Back on Top of the Billboard 200 With 'Lover'!

Taylor Swift is a winner.

The “Me!” singer-songwriter debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with her newest studio album Lover as of Sunday (September 1), according to the official chart company.

Lover moved 867,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Of those, 679,000 were album sales – the largest since reputation‘s opening figure of 1.238 million units.

The album had the biggest week for any album since her own release, reputation, in 2017.

Taylor is now the only woman to have six albums sell at least 500,000 copies in a single week, and this is her sixth No. 1 album. She’s also had 5 No. 1 albums this decade.
