Sailor Brinkley-Cook Is 'On A High' After Taking Over Mom Christie Brinkley's Place on 'DWTS'

The 21-year-old model actually found out about her mom, Christie Brinkley‘s, injury a few moments before her flight took off!

“We’re about two minutes before take off and she calls me, telling me I need to save the day,” Sailor told GMA’s Ginger Zee in an interview. “I freaked out and I don’t know if I could do this. I am so scared.”

She added that after meeting everyone on the show, she “felt this high. Just attacking something that I’m so afraid of seemed so incredible to do. She [Christie] cries every five minutes over the fact that I’m doing this.”
