OlderElle Fanning & Her 'Maleficent' Co-Star Angelina Jolie Chat With Students at London School
Elle Fanning and Angelina Jolie visit some lucky students on International Day of the Girl!
The actresses – who co-star in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil – spent some time at the Mulberry School for Girls on Friday (October 11) in London, England.
Ten young students from the renowned school were invited to take part in a special meet-and-greet which gave them the opportunity to ask the two leading actresses questions which they had composed themselves.
The topics included the importance of diverse female roles, the increasing pressures that social media has on young people, and how every girl deserves the right to an education.
International Day of the Girl is an international observance day declared by the United Nations. The day aims to highlight and address the needs and challenges girls face, while promoting girls’ empowerment and the fulfilment of their human rights.
