Thomasin McKenzie wears puffy sleeves on her lace dress at the 2019 British Academy Brittania Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday night (October 25) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 19-year-old actress joined her Jojo Rabbit co-star Roman Griffin Davis on the red carpet.

Thomasin recently opened up about taking on the role in her latest film and the tackling the material.

“I was aware that I needed to be very sensitive with the material,” she said in an interview. “I did what I could to understand what my character had been through.”

“It was so important that Elsa is not just a victim. Yes, she has lived through something terrible, but she’s also a teenage girl like me,” Thomasin continued. “She’s had a crush on a boy, she’s a talented artist, she had friends and family. Just like me she’s going through puberty! All of that had to come through too.”
