Selena Gomez Opens Up About The Many Meanings Behind 'Lose You To Love Me'

Selena Gomez wears a tiger striped dress while on her way to a new interview in New York City on Monday (October 28).

The 27-year-old singer has been promoting her two new singles, “Lose You To Love Me” and “Look at Her Now”, in the Big Apple following their release last week.

Speaking with Radio.com, Selena revealed that there were multiple meanings to the first song.

“I wanted to get out a lot of the feelings that I was experiencing, but in a way where it was, more saying I’m frustrated and I’m feeling these things and it’s complicated but I’m okay with closing this chapter and I’m okay with moving forward,” Selena shared. “Which is something I’ve had a hard time with in the past.”

She continues, “I wanted it to be a declaration of where I am, and hopefully for other people who have experienced what I’ve experienced, just to know that feeling is valid. Hopefully they can feel peace about that.”
