OlderTaylor Swift Named Artist of the Decade Ahead of American Music Awards 2019
Taylor Swift is getting honored at the 2019 American Music Awards!
The 29-year-old entertainer is set to be given the highly coveted Artist of the Decade award!
Taylor is being given the honor after having won more AMAs than any other artist this decade, in addition to holding the record for most wins of any female artist ever.
During the show, Taylor will celebrate her win with a performance of the biggest hits of her career.
“Taylor’s impact on music this decade is undeniable and her performances on the American Music Awards have been truly spectacular. We’re thrilled to honor her as our Artist of the Decade and can’t wait for her to blow everyone away with an epic, career-spanning performance unlike any other!” dick clark productions said in a statement.
Taylor is also up for five awards including Artist of the Year and Favorite Music Video for “You Need to Calm Down.”
The AMAs will air November 24th at 8 PM on ABC.
