Zendaya Doesn't Like It When She's Told She 'Can't Do It All'

Zendaya really, really doesn’t like being told that she can’t do it all.

In her cover story for Allure magazine, the 23-year-old actress shared that people telling her that, or saying it in general, is one of her big pet peeves.

“It makes me mad. I don’t like the idea that you have to box yourself in or stay in one lane,” Zendaya says. “Why wouldn’t I want to try to make the most of my talents and my gifts while I can?”

She adds that she does want to do it all, or at least all that she possible can. She also wants to rid the world of the saying, too.

“I want to be a part of the change,” she adds. “It’s important that creatives of all races, if they have an opportunity or platform, use it to make room for other people.”
