Jake Paul Shares Why He Doesn't Think Tana Mongeau Should Have Won Creator of the Year at Streamys 2019 & She Agrees

Jake Paul made a somewhat controversial statement on his brother Logan Paul‘s podcast Impaulsive.

The 22-year-old YouTuber said that he doesn’t think his wife Tana Mongeau should have won the Creator of the Year award at the 2019 Streamys.

“Let’s be honest, the people winning these awards — no offense — like, they’re not actually like who should be winning the awards most of the time,” he said. “MrBeast should have won that award.”

Tana even agrees with her hubby, and in her post about winning, she said that she didn’t think she should have won either.

“heard what he’s saying. beast did something this year that changed the world & deserved it above anyone. i agree & respect honesty. i’m very lucky to have fans that voted the way they did,” she wrote on Twitter after the podcast came out.

“as much as i am grateful for this award, i do not and never will feel like ‘creator of the year’,” she wrote on Instagram after the awards ceremony. “to be honest i still feel i should be mailing this award to David or Mr. Beast or Emma.”
