Jenna Ortega Talks Being Discovered On Social Media

In the issue, the 17-year-old actress opened up about her role in the second season of You, as well as how she feels about social media. Check it out:

On her role as Ellie in You season two: “At least for me, in my career, she is very contrasting from where I came from – Disney. It’s very different and is a very drastic change. She’s very real and grounded and I think that there will be a lot of people who can relate to her.”

On her take on social media: “Well I grew up in social media. That’s how I became an actress in the first place. I was discovered on Facebook. I feel like there’s definitely a lot of positive things that come from social media but I also think it’s very damaging to your mental health.”
