OlderKaitlyn Dever 'Cannot Believe' She's Nominated For BAFTA's Rising Star Award
Kaitlyn Dever is a little shocked that she’s nominated for BAFTA’s Rising Star Award.
The 23-year-old actress, who is nominated along with Awkwafina, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Jack Lowden, and Michael Ward, shared her reaction on social media this morning.
“I cannot believe I have been nominated for the @BAFTA #EERisingStar award. This is really such an honor. I feel so overwhelmed with gratitude!!!” Kaitlyn wrote on Twitter.
Just the night before, Kaitlyn attended the 2020 Golden Globe Awards, where she was nominated for Best Miniseries Actress for Unbelievable.
Notable winners of the Rising Star Award include Kristen Stewart, Shia LaBeouf, and Tom Holland.
The five nominees are chosen regardless of gender, nationality and whether they have made a breakthrough in television, film or both, and is determined by public vote.
