Gaten Matarazzo Undergoes Fourth Surgery For Rare Bone Disorder

Gaten Matarazzo just underwent his fourth surgery.

The 17-year-old Stranger Things actor took to social media to let fans know he was having another procedure for his Cleidocranial Dysplasia.

Cleidocranial Dysplasia (CCD) is a rare genetic disorder that affects the growth of bones and teeth, which Gaten has had since birth.

“Surgery number 4! This is a big one! To learn more about Cleidocranial Dysplasia and how you can help those with the condition you can go to ccdsmiles.org,” Gaten wrote on his Instagram.

CCD Smiles, a non-profit organization that aims to help others with CCD by building awareness for the condition, offering support and helping fund the cost of the oral/facial surgeries that those with the condition need to live normal lives.
