Charli D'Amelio Originally Joined TikTok to Teach Her Friends the Dances

Charli D’Amelio is spilling on the real reason she joined TikTok!

The 15-year-old social media star says her friends convinced her to join the app because they wanted her to teach them the dances!

“All of my friends had TikTok before me and they were like, ‘Charli, you dance outside of TikTok and you don’t even know what it is! Learn this dance,”” Charli explained on Live With Kelly and Ryan.

She continued, “So I would learn the dances and they’d be like, ‘Now teach it to us!’ After that I was like, ‘I’m going to download the app! I can do it! It’s just dancing. I got it!’”
