Selena Gomez's Movie 'Broken Hearts Gallery' to Be First Big Studio Release in Theaters!

Selena Gomez‘s new movie is heading to theaters in just about a month!

The Broken Hearts Gallery, which the 27-year-old star executive produced, will be out in theaters on July 10, Variety reports. It will be one of the first movies released in theaters this summer.

The Broken Hearts Gallery, from director Natalie Krinsky, stars Geraldine Viswanathan, Dacre Montgomery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Molly Gordon, Phillipa Soo, Suki Waterhouse, Arturo Castro, Ego Nwodim, Taylor Hill and Bernadette Peters.

“Hearing from more female writers and directors is very much needed,” Selena shared in a statement. “Natalie is a wonderful talent and I am happy to be a part of her debut film. I understand people’s concerns regarding returning to activities we all loved prior to COVID-19. I hope everyone will listen to scientists’ recommendations and consider others’ health and safety while enjoying the movie theater experience.”

Movie theaters have been closed nationwide since mid-March because of the pandemic. 554 locations re-opened last week with many more opening in California this week.

Here’s how the proposed movie theater reopening is expected to work…
