Jonas Brothers' Comeback Single 'Sucker' Named ASCAP's Pop Song of the Year

The Jonas Brothers earned quite the title with their song “Sucker“!

The brother trio’s 2019 comeback single nabbed the Pop Song of the Year honor at the 2020 ASCAP Pop Awards, Variety reports.

The song was co-written by the Jonas Brothers, Ryan Tedder, Louis Bell and Frank Dukes.

Louis was also named Songwriter of the Year for co-writing “Sucker”, Halsey‘s “Without Me”, and Post Malone and Young Thug‘s “Goodbyes”.

Lil Nas X earned the award of Most Streamed Song of the Year for his hit “Old Town Road (Remix)” with co-writers Jozzy and Trent Reznor.

“7 Rings,” “Bad Guy,” “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored,” “ME!,” “Senorita,” “Shallow,” “Sicko Mode,” “Someone You Loved,” and many more also earned trophies for being on ASCAP’s list of most performed songs.
