OlderA Hulu Exec Is Sharing An Update on 'Lizzie McGuire'
Hulu’s head of original Content, Craig Erwich, is providing a new update on Lizzie McGuire!
In a recent interview, the exec shared that the streaming platform currently has nothing in the works with the Disney reboot series.
“I appreciate her fandom,” he told Vanity Fair. “We have not had any conversations with Hilary Duff around her show.”
Hilary has pleaded with Disney to let the Lizzie McGuire reboot be moved to Hulu so they can explore more adult content.
The show has been up in the air after creator Terri Minsky left the project due to creative differences with Disney+ over the content of the series.
Back in April, the show’s writers got together virtually, providing hope that the reboot will continue on.
In case you missed it, Hilary and her Lizzie co-stars, including Lalaine, all reunited for a virtual table read on the anniversary of one of it’s popular episodes.
