Demi Lovato Talks Depression & Black Lives Matter With Her Idol Kelly Clarkson

Demi Lovato virtually chatted with her idol Kelly Clarkson on the Thursday (June 25) episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show!

The 27-year-old entertainer and the talk show host talked about depression and Demi‘s outspokenness with Black Lives Matter. She even gushed over her love for Kelly!

“I just have to say that you were the first idol that I ever had, and I wouldn’t be the artist or even the person I am, with being outspoken, vulnerable and fearless, if I hadn’t had you to look up to,” Demi said. “I thank you for that. I looked at you as my idol growing up, you are fearless and courageous, and real as, you know. I always just thought to myself when I was younger, ‘If I ever make it, I wanna be like her.”

Later tonight, Demi will also be making an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

It was just announced that Demi will be teaming up with YouTube for a docu-series. Find out more here!
