Would the 'Twilight' Director Do a 'Midnight Sun' Movie With Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson?

The director of the first Twilight movie, Catherine Hardwicke, is opening up about making another movie!

In a recent interview, the director revealed if she would ever do another movie based off of the new “Midnight Sun” book.

“I think a re-cut would be difficult, because we did stay a lot more in Bella’s head,” she told ET. “It would be another film, which would be fun. It would be fascinating.”

Although, she admitted that it would be difficult.

“Rob [Pattinson] is Batman now… and Kristen [Stewart] is in a million beautiful projects,” Catherine said. “Who knows what would happen.”

In case you didn’t know, “Midnight Sun” is the same Twilight story, except it’s told from Edward Cullen’s point of view. The new book will be available to purchase NEXT Tuesday (August 4)!
