The 19-year-old co-founded the cruelty-free, vegan-friendly beauty and makeup brand.
“Hey y’all. An ‘item’ is an individual thing and so is beauty. It’s not about comparing yourself to others, but owning your look and loving what you see in the mirror. I created ITEM Beauty as a healthy dose of self-love we could all use. Since my mom was a makeup artist, I’ve always been comfortable with beauty products and seen it as a fun way to express myself. ITEM Beauty is all about embracing your imperfections, not masking anything, because they all play a part in what makes you truly unique,” Addison writes in a letter on the website.
“ITEM Beauty is good for you inside and out. It’s made with a mix of clean, lush ingredients, free from any bad stuff, so you can also feel confident about the love and care that goes into each product,” she continued. “ITEM brings so. much. happiness.”
Item Beauty‘s first products include a mascara, lip gloss, brow pencil and brush, a contour duo, liquid eyeshadow and a translucent blurring powder.
Each product is priced $22 or less, and is made with clean ingredients, free from talc, parabens, phthalates and mineral oil.
