'Supernatural' Begins Filming On Final Episodes, First CW Series To Do So

Supernatural has begun filming on Tuesday (August 18) in Vancouver, Canada!

According to Deadline, the long-running CW show turned on their cameras for the final two episodes of it’s fifteenth season, after Warner Bros TV reached a deal with local unions to resume production.

The day before, The CW announced the fall premiere date for Supernatural‘s last seven episodes. See when it returns here!

The resuming of filming marks the first for a CW series in Vancouver since the pandemic shut down productions back in March. Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa announced that their show has gone into pre-production in the city.

After he’s finished filming on the last two episodes of Supernatural, Jared Padalecki is set to begin filming on his new CW show Walker, the Walker, Texas Ranger reboot.

In case you missed it, Jensen Ackles has landed his first post-Supernatural role!
