Lili Reinhart Dishes on 'Riverdale' Season 5 on 'The Tonight Show'

Lili Reinhart recently opened up about the upcoming fifth season of Riverdale, and dishing that there will be a seven year time jump.

“So we’re taking the first two episodes to finish Season 4, technically, and Season 5, we’re actually doing a, I believe, seven year time jump into the future,” the 23-year-old said on The Tonight Show. “We’re not going to be teenagers anymore.”

“I’m really psyched about it,” Lili added. “I think it’ll be really nice to play an adult. You know? But I also appreciate that Roberto, our show runner was like, ‘yeah, let’s revamp’… We’re not just stuck in high school for seven seasons.”

Lili also shared what it will be like with everyone coming back off of quarantine.

“So we’re all going to be significantly… Tanner?” she told Jimmy Fallon. “Maybe… I’ve gained weight in quarantine, so I’ll look a little different? It’s like, it’s like… five months. It did make quite a difference, I think, it’ll be easy to tell when we filmed in March, when we filmed in September.”
