Mark Consuelos Says The 'Riverdale' Time Jump Is 'Super Interesting'

Mark Consuelos is dishing on the new season of Riverdale!

The 49-year-old actor, who plays Hiram Lodge on the series, recently opened up about the show’s seven year time jump in the upcoming fifth season.

“Um, season five is graduation, and then they’re going to jump cuts seven years after a few episodes. Which was a decision not to stay like in the college,” he said on SiriusXM’s Quarantined with Bruce.

“Does it completely forego the college, um, time of, you know, chronological order and just jump cut and people are in their lives,” Mark continued. “Some people are in different relationships and I think I’ve, I’ve read the first six episodes. It’s super interesting. I’m excited to do it. I’m up to my old shenanigans. Um, but I’m excited to get back to work.”

In case you missed it, filming on the new season JUST started TODAY (September 14), and someone went shirtless to film the first scene back!
