'Riverdale' Begins Filming Season 5, Starting With a Shirtless KJ Apa

Riverdale is officially back to filming!
The show’s upcoming fifth season kicked off filming on Monday (September 14) after the stars quarantined for two weeks.
First scene to be filmed, as documented by showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, is a shirtless KJ Apa in a steam room.
“Annnnnd #Riverdale is back. First scene up of Season 5: Archie in a steam room. Even in a Covid world, some things never change…π₯πππβ€οΈ,” Roberto wrote on Instagram.
The day before, Roberto shared a photo with Camila Mendes, Lili Reinhart, Madelaine Petsch, Cole Sprouse and Drew Ray Tanner ahead of the big return.
