Taylor Swift Shares American Music Awards Speech From The Studio!

Taylor Swift won one of the biggest awards of the night at the 2020 American Music Awards, which aired from the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (November 22) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old songstress won the Artist of the Year award, and her acceptance speech was filmed in a recording studio!

“Oh hey guys, thank you so much for this. This is a fan voted award, which means so much to me. You guys have been beyond wonderful, all the years of my career, but especially this one when we’ve been so far apart. We haven’t been able to see each other in concert, but I still feel really connected to you through the music,” she said. “Your reaction to Folklore and all the ways in which your imagination honored that album, I just love you so much, and I’m really really lucky because of you.”

“The reason I’m not there tonight is I’m actually I’m rerecording all of my old music, in the studio where we originally recorded it. So it’s been amazing and I can’t wait for you to hear it,” Taylor added.

Taylor also picked up the awards for Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock and Favorite Music Video for “Cardigan.”

Just about a week ago, Taylor revealed that she had started to rerecord her old music after her contract with her old label finally allowed her to. She even teased she’s working on some surprises!
