Zendaya & John David Washington Are Madly In Love In 'Malcolm & Marie' Trailer

The trailer for Zendaya‘s upcoming Netflix film Malcolm & Marie was just released!

The 24-year-old actress stars in the quarantine-filmed movie alongside John David Washington.

Malcolm & Marie is an achingly romantic drama in which a filmmaker (Washington) and his girlfriend (Zendaya) return home following a celebratory movie premiere as he awaits what’s sure to be imminent critical and financial success. The evening suddenly takes a turn as revelations about their relationships begin to surface, testing the strength of their love.

“It pushed me to trust myself when it comes to my creative instincts…and trust the feeling of knowing if something is good. I like to stay inspired and compelled to create something,” Zendaya previously said about the movie.

Written and directed by Euphoria creator Sam Levinson, the film is an ode to the great Hollywood romances as well as a heartfelt expression of faith in the medium’s future and will premiere on Netflix on February 5th.
