Joshua Bassett Reveals What New Single 'Lie Lie Lie' Is About

Joshua Bassett is opening up about his upcoming new single “Lie Lie Lie“!

The 20-year-old musician and actor just revealed the meaning behind his new song.

“I wrote ‘Lie, Lie, Lie’ after i found out a friend had been lying about me behind my back for a long time,” he shared on Instagram story. “It always sucks to hear that someone you thought you could trust would throw you under the bus when it benefits them.”

“It happens to all of us, and I think all you can do is seek out people that build you up rather than tear you down,” he added.

Joshua‘s message comes as fans have been speculating what and who the track is about.

“Lie Lie Lie,” the song and video, will be out at 3pm PT on Thursday (January 14).
