Selena Gomez Dishes On Making Her New Spanish EP, Reveals One of the Biggest Collaborators

Selena Gomez is opening up more about her upcoming Spanish language EP Revelación!

During her new Vevo Footnotes video of her song “De Una Vez,” the 28-year-old revealed some tidbits about her new project.

“‘De Una Vez’ was one of the first songs I worked on pretty early on. At the time, doing a Spanish project was just an idea being bounced around. Then the rest of the project just kind of happened really quickly and organically,” she shared. “As for the process – we actually recorded almost the entire EP on Zoom due to COVID.’”

While Selena‘s first couple of releases were produced by Tainy, and she had Rauw Alejandro on “Baila Conmigo,” she revealed that someone else who contributed.

“One of the biggest collaborators on the EP is Elena Rose – an incredible female writer who I think really understands my heart and what I wanted to say with this project,” she dished.

If you don’t know who Elena is, she is a Venezuelan American singer and songwriter from Miami. She has also worked with Becky G, CNCO and even Ricky Martin!

Songs that she’s co-written include Selena‘s “De Una Vez,” Jennifer Lopez and Maluma‘s “Pa’ Ti,” Becky G‘s “My Man,” “No Drama” and “Dollar,” and CNCO‘s “La Ley.”
