The official first look at the potential live action Powerpuff Girls series has landed!
The CW has shared the new image showing Dove Cameron, Chloe Bennet and Yana Perrault as adult versions of the kid superheroes.
Last week, the girls were spotted on set on their first day, and social media blew up with talk about their costumes.
Those costumes however, are only worn in flashbacks of their teenage years. The focus of the pilot is on the girls as adults as shown in this first look.

The new, live action series is based off of the original Cartoon Network show, and sees the pint-sized superheroes as disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting. Will they agree to reunite now that the world needs them more than ever?
Simply titled Powerpuff, The CW has only ordered the pilot episode, and has yet to announce that the show has been picked up to series. Crossing our fingers!
