Selena Gomez Launches Mental Health 101 Initiative & Lands New Movie Role!

Selena Gomez is having a pretty big day today (April 29)!

The 28-year-old entertainer and her Rare Beauty company just launched “Mental Health 101,” which is a new campaign for those who may be struggling with their mental health.

“I know first hand how scary and lonely it can feel to face anxiety and depression by yourself at a young age,” Selena said. “The world needs to know that mental health matters. It’s just as important as your physical health, and I wish we could all acknowledge that, not just in words but through our actions.”

Mental Health 101 is an initiative through Rare Impact to help get people “connected to the resources they need, and to empower young people in ways that may not have been possible before.”
