The CW's Live Action 'Powerpuff Girls' Pilot to Get Reworked, Not Picked Up To Series Yet

The highly anticipated live action Powerpuff Girls has not been picked up to series just yet!

It was just revealed that the potential new show, starring Dove Cameron, Chloe Bennet and Yana Perrault, will have it’s pilot reworked and repiloted off-cycle, JJJ can confirm.

The ladies, along with Donald Faison as Professor Drake Utonium and the rest of the cast, are all set to continue as the iconic trio in the new pilot that will be filmed for The CW.

Here’s a synopsis of the original pilot: The Powerpuff Girls used to be America’s pint-sized superheroes, now they’re disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting. Will they agree to reunite now that the world needs them more than ever?
