OlderLucas Till & Nafessa Williams Cast In New TV Pilot After Their Shows End
When one door closes, another one opens!
Lucas Till and Nafessa Williams have just been cast in Lee Daniels‘ upcoming FX pilot The Spook Who Sat by the Door, THR reports.
The two join previously announced Y’lan Noel and Christina Jackson, as well as fellow newly cast Nathan Darrow and Tom Irwin, in the upcoming project.
The potential new series is based on the 1969 book by Sam Greenlee and follows “Dan Freeman (Noel), the first Black officer in the CIA — a patriot, a Vietnam veteran and, secretly, a revolutionary. Jackson plays Joy Freeman, an up-and-coming attorney committed to making a difference and Dan’s wife.”
Lucas will play CIA agent Graham Renfroe and Nafessa will play high-class working girl Etta Henry.
Both Lucas and Nafessa just recently had their shows end. Lucas‘ Macguyver aired it’s final episode on April 30th after five season, while Nafessa‘s Black Lightning just ended a few days ago, on Monday (May 24).
