Frankie Valli Is 'Really Excited' Nick Jonas Is Playing Him in 'Jersey Boys' TV Event

Frankie Valli is dishing on Nick Jonas playing him in an upcoming Jersey Boys television streaming event!

While promoting his new album A Touch of Jazz, the legendary Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons singer expressed his excitement about the Jonas Brother taking on this role.

“[Jersey Boys] is being filmed for television, and Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is playing Frankie,” he said on the Today show. “So I’m really excited about that.”

When asked if Nick consulted him or if they’ve had discussions, Frankie said, “We just talked last week for about 15-20 minutes. He’s also very excited. It’ll be filmed in I think, somewhere in Cleveland, and I will be going there to check it out.”

It was first revealed that Nick would play Frankie in a streaming event of the Jersey Boys musical back in January. The event is said to be in the vein of Hamilton on Disney+, a filmed version of the stage musical.

It’s unclear when this will be filmed, and Nick has a lot of upcoming projects with his brothers coming up. Starting in August, the Jonas Brothers are going back out on the road for their Remember This Tour!
